Guest Speaker: Kathy Prokhovnik
Kathy Prokhovnik is a writer and podcaster. Kathy’s grandparents left the Polish town of Wloclawek in 1919. When she decided to investigate her grandparents’ journey, AJHS VP Barbara Simon helped Kathy uncover many valuable leads. Kathy visited Poland in April 2025 to follow those leads. She now has some answers to some of the questions about her family’s story, but also many more questions. Kathy took us through some of her research and experiences in Warsaw, Wloclawek and Gdansk.
Kathy is finalising her second novel, Safety in the Home. Her podcast series, Seeking Sydney, is produced with Spineless Wonders publishing.
