B’nai B’rith is the oldest and largest international Jewish community service organisation. B’nai B’rith New South Wales’s commitment to the local Jewish community is evident in its 15 chapters, each fostering debate, collaboration, and a strong sense of identity. These groups serve as vital spaces for exchanging ideas, supporting one another, and preserving Jewish values and traditions.
A heartfelt example of this commitment can be seen through the generous donation from former President Peter Khan. His contribution has allowed the Australian Jewish Historical Society (AJHS) to enhance its collection, filling crucial gaps with correspondence, newsletters, bulletins, minutes, and memorabilia. These materials not only document the inner workings of B’nai B’rith NSW but also reflect its enduring passion and vision.
