AJHS preserve an extraordinary breadth of material documenting the lives of the Australian Jewish Community, including those who fled Europe pre-war. Among these stories is that of Mr. Hugo Klein, born in 1891 Vienna, who first emigrated to Mukden (now Shenyang), China, before ultimately arriving in Australia as a refugee.
